The LaQue Center headquarters is based in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina and our primary atmospheric exposure site is located ~20 minutes south at Kure Beach, North Carolina. Both facilities are located on the fast growing Cape Fear coastline. While our beaches and golf courses are well known, there are other outstanding attractions within our area. Gardens, Golf, Festivals, Climate, Cuisine, Beaches, Fishing, Theater & Arts, Nightlife, Boating, Museums, Local Film Industry, Architecture and warm, friendly people...it’s all here on the southeastern North Carolina coast. For more details, please check out the "Cape Fear Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau" site at www.cape-fear.nc.us.

Air travel to LaQue Center facilities is through Wilmington International Airport (be sure to tell your travel agent Wilmington, North Carolina).  Most clients come to our Wrightsville Beach headquarters prior to visiting the Kure Beach atmospheric test sites.  Directions to our Wrightsville Beach and Kure Beach facilities from the Wilmington International Airport follow.

To Wrightsville Beach Headquarters:  Upon leaving the airport, turn left onto 23rd Street.  Turn left onto Smith Creek Parkway (sign also says Highway 132/I-40 and US 74 to Wrightsville Beach).  Continue on Smith Creek Parkway over Highway 17.  At this point the parkway is called Eastwood Road (US 74).  Keep going to Wrightsville Beach.  Highways 74 and 76 will merge just before you reach the Intracoastal Waterway drawbridge.

Go straight and over the Intracoastal Waterway drawbridge.  Stay in the right hand lane and follow Hwy 76 East past the Town of Wrightsville Beach Municipal Buildings and Park (which will be on your left) to the LaQue Center at the foot of the Banks Channel Bridge.  The LaQue Center will be on your right at the Banks Channel Bridge; it is directly across from the Harbor Inn hotel.  Our parking lot is in front of the LaQue Center building and readily visible from the street.  Wrightsville Beach is approximately 7 miles from the airport.

To Kure Beach Atmospheric Test Sites:  Upon leaving the airport, turn left onto 23rd Street.  Turn left onto Smith Creek Parkway until you get to the stoplight at Highway 132 (College Road).  Turn right onto Highway 132.  It will turn into Highway 421 which will take you straight into Kure Beach.  Our Kure Beach offices are on the right just after you pass the SeaWatch development.  Kure Beach is approximately 25 miles from the airport.
